Other than looking really hot, there aren’t any real practical functions that a nipple piercing serves. In fact, I will argue that a pierced nipple can be a burden. Not only does it get caught in your loofah every time you’re scrubbing your chest, but it can be quite painful when brushed up against hard surfaces, and you have to be alert at all times because your jackass friends always seem to forget that “titty twisters” are no longer fun when they result in unwanted blood loss.
But they’re great for showing off to complete strangers (trust me, I would know). Because why get your nipple pierced if you don’t plan on showing it off? Amirite?
And that’s exactly what Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel did for her photoshoot with fashion photographer Steve Sabal.
Clearly, the fact remains that pierced nipples are extremely hot.
