The Olympics are right around the corner. If you couldn’t already tell.

While celebrating the athletes that are definitely showing up to the London Games has been good and all, imagine my disbelief when I found out that yet another one of my favorite gymnasts failed to make the National Team.

Alicia Sacramone led the National Team through much of the preliminary competitions acting as the mother hen of the extremely young but talented group of tumblers, until she was finally unceremoniously cut from the team. Sad. Because I would’ve totally sat down to watch her roll around on the mats. Definitely helps to know she’s legal (she’s 24). You can never be too sure with those gymnasts.
