I’ve been on the Lena Dunham train since Tiny Furniture. Not because I enjoyed it but moreso because I wanted to give her a chance.
I believe people can be funny regardless of what is swinging in between their legs. I really do think women can be funny. Like Tina Fey. As long as they’re somewhat attractive. Like Tina Fey. Or Amy Poehler. Or Kristen Wiig.
But this week, Lena Dunham, the self-proclaimed “a voice of the generation”, did something so abhorrent that I can’t stomach watching another episode of HBO’s Girls. She went topless. And she’s not very attractive. That does not help matters.
